Friday - Late Edition

Well I told you I would be back and it is late night, it has been for the past week or two for me. I have had all kind of things going on and trying to get things organized. We interviewed Dr. B this Friday along with his wife Ms. Doris Bennett. It went well and was the first initial interview of three with Dr. B besides the day in the life footage. There is plenty of B-roll to shoot in his home, it is unbelievable. Jake was great helping me entertain them as we set up, it really help past the time. Unfortunately Ms. Doris started to feel bad and had to leave and that kind of ended the interview, but Dr. B was kind and help us plan for the next one. We are all getting together Tuesday for a special meeting and discussing a new approach for them, since they can not interview as long as others and Dr. B has a lot to tell. So we will probably email him questions in advance so he may prepare to give specific to the point answers and we will also plan off the hip questions too, but get to the ones we want. This has really caused us to think exactly what we want to see and show, so we are getting straight to the point and also using others to answer for him, such as Thad his assistant who is really close to him. I have to admit we have all we need at our finger tips, it is just the ethics of how to approach Dr. B and Ms. Doris without over staying our welcome I guess. We also made a technical decision to use only the Keno's since the Arri lights get way too hot for Dr. B and Ms. Doris. We do have other interviews straggled throughout our last few weeks, we may have more than enough and yet still not all. During our interview they both gave us plenty of ideas to film which was great. We also may do a lot of interviews at the restaurant which will fit since Dr. B is there a lot and his school meets there and it makes it convenient for some of the ones we are interviewing. Our equipment check out times will have to change along with shooting since we have to do some during the week now, which will make it hard for us, but we will manage. I am worried about the week I go to Full Frame, but I guess the others can film without me, it will be something we have to discuss on Tuesday.

Well I have more, but I will have to come back. It is getting late and I have to catch up on some sleep for now or I will be no good this upcoming week.
