Not quite the end

Hey everyone, this week wraps up things for the semester, but not the Doc. Out team has met and discussed final preparation's and filming for at least doc class purposes. We are putting together our binder information and transferring and copying tapes to turn in on the 7th. We shot footage of Dr. B taking us on a tour of his life through pictures, achievements and other nick knacks in his home. Ms. Doris was "puny" once again and did not follow, but she did come out occasionally and it was a wonderful interaction between the two, Dr. B and Ms. Doris. We also filmed the exterior of the house and street along with his suit case as he prepares to leave this Saturday for a week. There was more or is more to get, but I will continue to get what I need and leave a note and contact info. for the editing class so if they need more or if they have ideas we did not think of or have time to get. I also volunteered to turn their slides into photo prints. Ms. Doris has wanted to do this for some time and has not been able too, so I requested to do it for her at no charge and they wanted to pay me, but I refused and they agreed. I just ask them to walk us through the pictures later or do a slide show for us, which they agreed to also. And Dr. B has requested to take us guys out to eat some time in about two weeks when things smooth out in his schedule and we all are going to take him up on that. He has invited me and my wife out May 22 for diner in honor of my graduating and said it be okay to film, but we will see, I am sure I will. Dr. B and Ms. Doris give their best to our class and wanted to say thank you, and he continued to remind us he is just and ordinary guy, hahaha.

Well what else? The class seemed to respond well Wednesday in class to our footage, even though it was a rough throw together edit. I believe I have learned a lot and plan to continue this project and involve Shannon's opinion if she so chooses through out the future of this doc. I really respect others opinions and welcome them openly. So thank you all for your attention and suggestions and to my team thank you greatly for your help and support and I hope to continue with you all and help you in your future progress as well. But this project is for you and the people, and everyone will be invited to the final screening. Keep posted to this site for updates and how to contact me and other goodies. I am sure I have forgotten somethings or someone, but for now I am signing off and wish you all the best. Thank You!
