OK this blog is to get you transitioned to my new blog I am developing. It is merely a test, so feel free to comment. But these will come up time to time to suggest or direct your attention to something or someone I would like to spotlight of worthy of well, your attention.

Today I would like you to check out http://www.thelot.com/ and focus your attention of Jason Epperson. I have been voting for this guy since the show began. He is a filmmaker from Kentucky and claims to be a Christian. He has promise and a lot of people like him and next week during the final show, I believe he will be the winner to work with Spielberg. The site itself is of great value for any filmmaker and if your serious about this biz you need to watch and play on the site it is loaded. I think the show could have been better, but hey there is nothing else like it currently. If these guys can make it we all can. There are so many opportunities it is ridiculous not to get something your doing seen outside of your living room. So watch, check out the site and get inspired and Go, Do, Be.

Transtions

Hey guys there have been a lot of transition going on with myself and with MMM. I thought in this blog I would just update you on some changes with MMM since at this point I am just getting settled in my new apartment that I just moved in to, but I will explain that in more detail at the end.

MMM is no longer meeting at McDaniel's Farm restaurant, due to its closing. The group now meets at a church off of Gordon Rd. that is being newly renovated. A lot of new people are starting to come and MMM needed new and more space anyway. The annual banquet is slotted for Nov. 30th in which I will show a short version of this doc. So needless to say I have a lot of work ahead of me and I am busy trying to figure how I can create a plan to have time to finish the doc. I will be out of a job in September and I am looking for one related to my Field and that won't suck time away from my wife, church, and my own work (like this doc). Now that is going to be hard to find, but hey the Lord will provide, trust me everything thus far has worked out.

As for me like I said we just moved to a sweet spot off of River Rd. that is only temporary while we look for a house. Also we both are looking for new jobs, mine here is a temp job and I need something that will last until I quit or I am fired, and my wife just needs something better, hopefully it will be working with me at my new job doing something related to film or video. The whole having my own business thing needs to be re-thought and may not be best for my future goals, but we'll see. Please feel free to give us advice or point us to anything that could help.

Speaking of advice please remember this blog is for you to give you the opportunity to ask questions and suggest anything pertaining to this doc or if whatever (I evaluate every comment before it is posted any way). Oh and btw if anyone wants to help feel free to speak up.

Back in the saddle, again!!!

Well hello to anyone who reads this blog. It has been awhile, but I have new equipment and an old mission, so watch out. I have had some good times and have been refreshed and I your going to see some new exciting things come your way and I will point you to the hype starting at this blog since it is the most updated and viewed. I have a myspace page at www.myspace.com/tac7980 and I will be starting a new blog that I am currently brainstorming. There is a whole lot more, but I will keep you posted on here or the new blog soon. As for now I am currently moving, looking for work and finishing this doc. I have met some cool guys (Storme and Lee) from http://www.eleven72.com/ when I went to Austin (thanks Shannon). Check out their site among Shannon's and Andre's. I am also entering a treatment into the SAICFF . I am also helping Joe Carr out from http://www.gospelforbrazil.org/ with editing some footage together for a promo video and stuff for his site. I should be going to India sometime too, but I have to update you on that as I get the updates myself. So see there is a lot going on and more than this too. No real income, but a lot of adventures and filmmaking fun (who knows this may lead to elsewhere?). So till next time...

The end...?

Well it is done. I just turned in all our stuff for the final. I hope we did everything right and hope it all turns out good. I guess we'll see if the editing class will contact us and then we will see their version next semester at the screenings. For now I am done and I am not worrying about anything, I am going to relax and figure out what my next steps are. I will see everyone at the party.

Oh, and...

I have counted up our tapes that I am copying and the count thus far is at 21 tapes total that we have to fit into 6 total for the Advanced Editing Class here at UNCW for next semester. We also have a song in the works and I have some of Dr. B's old sermons on CD that can be used in the final edit along with the pictures and footage. I hope the editing class will check out this site to get ideas for their final edit.

I am looking for an overall tone of making Dr. B a people person, put him on a personable level. He is this interesting and experienced man full of all this knowledge and yet keeps things simple and on common level and does not try to speak above anyone or over use his academic knowledge. I hope the final edits really show his true personality that anyone can connect to.
